USC ESPORTS WRAP-UP #13 — “You’ll get what you put into it.”
Heya USC Games! Today we have a short sneak preview of an interview with Levitate, our previous League of Legends player who has now made a name for themselves in the Tier 2 League of Legends scene!
1. First of all, can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit more about your experience with E Conquest?
Levitate: “Hey everyone! I’m Levitate, I played for USC Esports for three years and also previously played for Blue Otter in NACL. I’ve participated in every E Conquest that I’ve been here at USC: 2021— and then I took a gap year— 2023, 2024, and then now 2025. This was the first time it was indoors, but honestly it’s pretty cold outside so I’m glad I got to play inside this time around.
2. How does it feel coming back to USC Esports, our League Team, even temporarily?
Levitate: “It was really nice and a pleasant surprise. I didn’t expect to see previous staff members like Joe here, but it was really heartwarming because he put a lot of effort into this program. Just seeing all the players still enthusiastic about playing is a really good sign, and it was really fun playing E Conquest again and I’m glad I was able to end it on a W.”
3. Is there anything you want to say to students who are involved in USC Esports right now or any aspiring pro players watching this video?
Levitate: “I think USC League Esports and Collegiate Esports in general is a really good opportunity because you probably won’t get anything similar for the rest of your life, so really cherish the experience. You’ll get what you put into it and it’s a lot of fun being able to compete for the school and make a name for yourself, so cherish the opportunity and make sure to work hard.”
